New Board revisits Vision & Mission of NPMP

In a retreat held on June 4 and 5, the newly elected Board of Directors of the National Prison Ministries Philippines, Inc. (NPMP) revisited the vision and mission statements of the national ministry. The retreat, facilitated by Dr. Rey Taniajura, was conducted at the Christian Development Center in Tagaytay City. The retreat participants also crafted the core values statements of NPMP, as well as explored possible action plans that could be implemented in the current year. Current Board members of NPMP are Atty. Roy Valenzuela (President and Board Chairman), Ms. Tess Uadan (Vice President), Atty. Romeo Villante (Secretary), Engr. Nomer Venus (Treasurer) and Dr. Rey Taniajura (Member and Adviser).

The following are the new vision, mission and core values statements that have been adopted by the Board:

VISION
We see Peoples and communities Freed and transformed through a national movement of Prison work.

MISSION
To birth and strengthen a National dynamic movement of Prison work Ministering for the restoration and development of Peoples and communities.
